Newbie Guide
Everything you need to start playing MonEx — catch Monanimals on X, build your party, and battle through the Monad office.
1. Create your account
- Go to the MonEx home page.
- Click LOGIN WITH X and sign in with your X account.
- Click GAME START in the sidebar to enter the game.
Logging in with X saves your progress to the cloud and links your @handle automatically. Wild catches from that X account sync to your Party and Box — no extra setup in Profile.
Optional: open PROFILE (left rail) → ACCOUNT to confirm your connected @handle, or CATCH LOG to see your catch history.
2. Catch Monanimals on X
- On X, post a tweet that mentions
@monexmonad and includes a catch command — for example:
@monexmonad catch 1 monanimal
- Each catch costs 1 Monball. You can spend 1–50 Monballs per tweet (
catch 1 … catch 50).
- Bare
catch defaults to 1 Monball (one catch attempt).
- @monexmonad may reply with your results and a catch card image showing the Mon you caught (sprite, name, rarity, level, and skills).
- Wait a moment, then open PROFILE → CATCH LOG in the game to see your full results.
- New Mons go to your Party first (up to 3 slots). When the party is full, extras go to your Box.
Catch command examples
@monexmonad catch → 1 catch@monexmonad catch 1 monanimal → 1 catch@monexmonad catch 10 monanimals → 10 catches@monexmonad catch 25 → 25 catches (any whole number from 1 to 50 works)
Extra words around the command are fine — e.g. yo @monexmonad rng pls catch 3 monanimals still works as long as catch and the number are in the tweet.
Replying on a @monexmonad post? You can write just catch or catch 5 monanimals without tagging @monexmonad again.
Tip: The home page X Wild Log shows live catches from everyone. Click a row to see the full catch breakdown with skills and rarity.
You can also tap CATCH ON X in the game for a quick reminder of the tweet format.
3. Claim your daily reward
- On the home page, tap the DAILY LOGIN box (right sidebar).
- You receive 5 Monballs sent to your in-game MAILBOX.
- Open the game → MAILBOX (left rail) → claim the reward.
Daily login has a cooldown — come back after the timer resets for your next Monball.
4. Know your Party and Box
- Party — up to 3 Monanimals that fight for you. Open PARTY on the right rail to view or swap members.
- Box — storage for extra Mons. Move Mons between Party and Box anytime.
- Each species can only appear once in your party at a time.
5. Battle and progress
Main scene (home base)
Your party idles on the main scene. Tap the resource chest when it shows READY to collect AFK rewards (gold, trainer XP, and more).
Battle Hub
Open BATTLE on the right rail to enter the Battle Hub. From there:
- Adventure — choose Campaign (story chapters and bosses) or Patrol (office scans for gear and loot). Patrol has a daily scan limit.
- House Tower — climb tower floors for tougher fights and rewards.

6. Grow stronger
- Shop — buy Monballs, materials, and items with Gold or KB's Onion (essence).
- Armory — equip, enhance, and synthesize gear for your Mons.
- Inventory — view materials, shards, and items.
- Daily Quest — complete daily, weekly, and campaign tasks for bonus rewards and milestone chests.
- Trainer level — gain trainer XP from battles and quests to unlock stronger progression.
7. Rarity and skills
Every Monanimal has a rarity tier:
- Common → Uncommon → Rare → Legendary → Mythic
Higher rarity means better stats and more skills. Hover skill icons in battle or the Wild Log to see what each skill does.
