What's Coming
Planned features for MonEx. These are not live yet — gold and essence remain the main currencies until each update ships.
PLANNED
Arena — bet with $MONEX
The Arena statue in the Battle Hub will open as a spectator and betting zone for live arena matches.
How it will work
- Connect your wallet on the Monad network and link it to your MonEx account.
- Open the Arena from the Battle Hub when a match is scheduled or in progress.
- Watch trainers battle with their party Mons in arena-format fights.
- Place a $MONEX bet on who you think will win before the match locks.
- If your pick wins, you receive a payout from the betting pool. If not, your stake goes to the winners.
What you need to know
- $MONEX is the Monad token used for Arena bets (and future shop purchases).
- You pay gas in MON (Monad's native coin) when sending a bet transaction.
- Minimum and maximum bet amounts will be shown in the Arena UI when it launches.
- Only linked wallets tied to your logged-in X account can place bets — this keeps rewards tied to you.
- Arena matches will use the same party Mons you train in Campaign and Patrol.
Status today: tapping Arena shows "coming soon." Betting, match scheduling, and wallet connect are still being built.
PLANNED
PVP Wager
Direct player-versus-player wagering — challenge another trainer and stake $MONEX on the outcome of your fight.
- Find an opponent through the PVP Wager statue in the Battle Hub.
- Both players agree on a wager amount before the battle starts.
- The winner takes the pooled stake (minus any small arena fee, if applicable).
Status today: PVP Wager is not open yet. It will arrive after core Arena betting is stable.

Shop — buy Monballs with $MONEX
Monball packs in the Shop will support $MONEX payments on Monad. Each purchase is a one-time on-chain payment — no in-game $MONEX balance required.
- Connect your Monad wallet and link it once to your X account.
- Open Shop → Monball Pack → Buy with $MONEX.
- Approve and send the transaction from your wallet.
- Monballs are added to your save after the payment is confirmed.
Gold and KB's Onion prices stay available so free-to-play grinding remains a full path.

Trade Monanimals and items with other players. The Marketplace button on the home page will open when this feature is ready.
